Privacy Policy

Dress AI ("the App") is operated by STRA Inc. ("we"). This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is collected, every purpose it is used for, and the third parties it is shared with.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect your contacts, location, health data, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. The App contains no advertising or tracking SDKs; its only analytics processor is Amplitude, described in Section 3. The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

If you sign in with Apple and choose Hide My Email, we receive and store only Apple's private relay address. We never require your real address.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the App's features: signing you in, storing your wardrobe, generating the images you request, and enforcing fair-use limits. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making about you, and we do not use it to train AI models.

3. AI processing (Google Gemini)

The App's core features are powered by a third-party AI service.

• What is sent: the specific photo you selected for that action, plus a text prompt describing the transformation. Nothing else — no name, no email address, no contacts, no location, no device identifiers.
• Who receives it: Google, through the Gemini API. Requests are relayed by our own server so that our API key is never exposed. Google processes this data under the Gemini API terms as our processor, and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes.
• When it is sent: only after you have given explicit in-app consent. The first time you use any AI feature, the App shows a consent screen describing exactly what will be sent and to whom; nothing leaves your device unless you agree. You can withdraw consent at any time in My Info → AI data sharing, which disables the AI features.
• Where results are stored: in your own account in a private Supabase storage bucket, protected by row-level security so that only your authenticated account can read it. All transport is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.

The processors we use are Google (Gemini API — image generation), Supabase (authentication, database, and private object storage), Amplitude (product analytics — see below), and, for in-app purchases only, Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) as payment processors. All are bound by contract to provide protection of your data equivalent to this policy. We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and do not share it with any third party other than these processors.

Product analytics (Amplitude). To understand which features people use and where they get stuck, the App sends usage events to Amplitude, Inc., our analytics processor: the name of the action (for example "garment added", "paywall viewed", "purchase started"), its time, the app version, device model and operating system, language, and your IP address, which is used to estimate your country and region. Events are linked to a random account identifier, not to your name or email. We do not send your photos, generated images, email address, precise location, or any advertising identifier, and Amplitude may not use this data for its own purposes or for advertising.

4. Photos and face imagery

Dress AI does not use face recognition, face tracking, faceprints, face embeddings, or any other biometric identifier, and never analyses a photo to identify you. A full-body photo you choose to upload may contain your face, but it is handled only as an ordinary image: it is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate your styling avatar. We do not derive any biometric template from it, and we do not share it with anyone other than the processors named in Section 3. You can delete these images at any time in My Info → Delete account.

The App does not use ARKit face tracking, the TrueDepth camera, on-device face-landmark APIs, or any biometric matching. Uploading a full-body photo is entirely optional; the wardrobe features work without one.

Profile picture (optional, on by default). After your avatar is generated, the App asks Google's Gemini API once for the position of the head in the avatar image — the answer is a rectangle only; no facial features, template or identity are produced or stored — crops that area on your device, and keeps the small crop as your profile picture. It is shown next to your name to other signed-in users wherever your profile, posts, comments or guestbook notes appear (never to people you have blocked). You can turn this off at any time in Edit profile → "Use my avatar's face as profile photo", which deletes the crop; deleting your avatar or your account deletes it too.

5. Friends, share links and invites

These features are optional and are used only when you use them.

• Name shown to friends and invite code. When you open the Friends tab, we create a short invite code for your account. Friends see the name you set there — by default the name from your Google or Apple account, which you can change at any time.
• Friends. When you enter someone's invite code or accept their invite link, we store that you are friends. Friends can see only the clothes and looks you set to Share with friends; everything is private by default. Friends never see your original photos, your full-body photo, or your avatar.
• Invite rewards. To give invite credits, we record who invited whom and whether the new account has added its first piece of clothing.
• Share links. When you share a look as a link, anyone with the link can see that look image, its title, and your name on our website and in the App. You can turn a link off at any time in the look's details; deleting the look turns it off too.
• Opening a link before installing. When someone taps "Get it on the App Store" on a share or invite page, our server keeps a salted hash of their IP address together with their device type, language, time zone, and screen size for at most 24 hours, so that the App can open the same look or invite the first time it is launched. The raw IP address is not stored. On Android, the link is passed through Google Play's install referrer instead.
• Reports and blocking. If you report someone, we store the report (reason and any details you add) and block that person. Our team reviews every report within 24 hours.
• Profile, handle and search. Your profile shows the name you set, an @handle (assigned automatically, changeable), and counts of the items and looks you share. Other users can find you by name or handle unless you turn off "Show me in search". Items you set to Everyone are visible to any signed-in user; Friends items only to friends; everything starts as Only me.
• Follows and friend requests. We store who follows whom and pending or answered friend requests so the app can show your people and send in-app notifications (follow, request, acceptance, guestbook).
• Guestbook. Notes you leave on someone's profile are stored with your account and shown to visitors of that profile. The profile owner and you can delete them.
• Feed posts, likes and comments. When you post a look to the feed, the look image, your text (up to 140 characters), the clothes you tag, and the audience you choose (Friends or Everyone) are stored with your account and shown to that audience; likes and comments are stored with the account that made them. Before a look is posted, our server sends the look image once to Google's Gemini API to check that it contains no nudity or violence — the result (safe / not safe) is stored, the image is not kept by Google beyond processing, and nothing else is sent. Posts from accounts that receive three separate reports are paused pending review.
• Outfit photos. From version 1.9.0 you can post photos of yourself in real clothes, not only looks. Before a photo post is published, our server sends the photos once to Google's Gemini API to check that they show no nudity, no apparent minor and no other people; the result (safe / not safe) is stored, the photos are not kept by Google beyond processing, and nothing else is sent. Post photos of yourself only. If you told us in the onboarding survey that you are under 18, your outfit photos are shared with friends only and cannot be made public. When you post a look "without my face", the crop is made on your device and only the cropped image is uploaded.
• Trying on other people's clothes. When you try an item from someone's public closet on your avatar, that item's product image and your avatar are processed exactly as in Section 3 for any try-on. The item's owner is told that you tried it on (your name, at most once a day per item), and a count of try-ons is shown on your profile.
• Closet cards and the official account. The feed shows cards for users who share items with Everyone: their name, handle, number of shared items and up to four product images. Every new account automatically follows the official Dress AI account (@dressai) so the feed is not empty; you can unfollow it at any time.
• Lending, renting and selling clothes. This feature is active from version 1.9.0. If you offer an item for rent or sale, the terms you set (audience, credits, rental length) are stored and shown to that audience. When someone rents or buys it, we record the transaction (both accounts, the item, credits, dates) and move credits between the accounts after a service fee; a rented item's product image becomes readable to the renter for the rental period, and a purchased item (its details and product image) moves to the buyer's account. Trade records are kept while either account exists, for support and fraud prevention. Credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
• Suggested people. To suggest people to follow, we rank profiles that are visible in search by how many items they share, their recent activity and their connections. No additional data is collected for this.
• Visit counts. When you open someone's profile we record one visit per day (your account, the date) to show them today's and all-time visit counts and their 20 most recent visitors. Turn on "Don't record my visits" to opt out; visit records are kept for 90 days.
• Push notifications. If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token with your account and language and send notifications for the in-app events listed above through Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging. The notification carries only the event type and the other person's display name. You can turn notifications off in the system settings at any time; the token is deleted when you sign out.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept only while you keep it. There is no separate archival copy. You can:

• Delete individual items in the App (long-press a garment → delete).
• Delete your entire account in the App: My Info → Delete Account. This permanently removes your photos, wardrobe, avatar, looks, friends, invite code, share links, and login record from our servers. Instructions are also at dress-ai-site.vercel.app/delete-account.
• Or email yongho@stra.ai from your registered address requesting deletion; we will complete it within 14 days.

Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how data is collected, used, or shared, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.

Dress AI(이하 "앱")는 주식회사 스트라(이하 "회사")가 운영합니다. 본 방침은 앱이 어떤 데이터를 어떻게 수집하고, 어떤 목적으로 이용하며, 어떤 제3자에게 제공하는지 설명합니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

연락처·위치·건강정보·검색기록·광고식별자는 수집하지 않습니다. 앱에는 광고 SDK와 트래킹 SDK가 없으며, 분석 수탁사는 제3항의 Amplitude뿐입니다. 앱 추적 투명성(ATT) 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.

Apple 로그인에서 이메일 가리기를 선택하면 Apple의 비공개 릴레이 주소만 저장하며, 실제 주소를 요구하지 않습니다.

2. 이용 목적

수집한 데이터는 로그인 인증, 옷장 저장, 요청한 이미지 생성, 공정 사용 제한 등 앱 기능 제공에만 사용합니다. 광고·프로파일링·자동화된 의사결정에 사용하지 않으며, AI 모델 학습에 사용하지 않습니다.

3. AI 처리 (Google Gemini)

• 전송되는 것: 해당 작업을 위해 이용자가 선택한 사진과 변환을 설명하는 텍스트 프롬프트. 그 외에는 아무것도 전송되지 않습니다 — 이름·이메일·연락처·위치·기기 식별자 모두 전송되지 않습니다.
• 받는 곳: Google의 Gemini API. 요청은 회사 서버를 경유하여 API 키가 노출되지 않도록 합니다. Google은 Gemini API 약관에 따라 수탁 처리자로서만 처리하며, 자체 목적으로 사용할 수 없습니다.
• 전송 시점: 앱 내 명시적 사전 동의 이후에만 전송됩니다. AI 기능을 처음 사용할 때 무엇이 누구에게 전송되는지 안내하는 동의 화면이 표시되며, 동의하지 않으면 어떤 데이터도 기기를 떠나지 않습니다. 동의는 내 정보 → AI 데이터 전송에서 언제든 철회할 수 있고, 철회 시 AI 기능이 비활성화됩니다.
• 결과 저장: 이용자 계정의 비공개 Supabase 스토리지에 저장되며, 행 수준 보안(RLS)으로 본인 계정만 접근할 수 있습니다. 모든 전송 구간은 HTTPS/TLS로 암호화됩니다.

이용하는 수탁사는 Google(Gemini API — 이미지 생성), Supabase(인증·데이터베이스·비공개 스토리지), Amplitude(제품 이용 분석 — 아래 참조), 그리고 인앱결제에 한해 결제 처리자인 Apple(App Store)과 Google(Google Play)입니다. 모두 본 방침과 동등한 수준의 보호를 계약으로 보장합니다. 데이터를 판매하지 않고, 광고사·데이터 브로커에 제공하지 않으며, 위 수탁사 외 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.

제품 이용 분석(Amplitude). 어떤 기능이 쓰이고 어디서 막히는지 파악하기 위해, 앱은 이용 이벤트를 분석 수탁사인 Amplitude, Inc.에 보냅니다: 행동 이름(예: "옷 등록", "페이월 조회", "결제 시작"), 시각, 앱 버전, 기기 모델·운영체제, 언어, 그리고 국가·지역을 추정하는 데 쓰이는 IP 주소입니다. 이벤트는 이름·이메일이 아닌 무작위 계정 식별자에 연결됩니다. 사진, 생성 이미지, 이메일 주소, 정밀 위치, 광고 식별자는 보내지 않으며, Amplitude는 이 데이터를 자체 목적이나 광고에 사용할 수 없습니다.

4. 사진 및 얼굴 이미지

Dress AI는 얼굴 인식, 얼굴 추적, 페이스프린트, 얼굴 임베딩 등 어떠한 생체 식별자도 사용하지 않으며, 사진을 신원 확인 목적으로 분석하지 않습니다. 이용자가 업로드하는 전신 사진에 얼굴이 포함될 수 있으나, 이는 일반 이미지로만 취급됩니다 — 스타일링 아바타 생성을 위해 Google Gemini API로 전송될 뿐입니다. 어떠한 생체 템플릿도 추출하지 않으며, 제3항에 명시된 수탁사 외에는 공유하지 않습니다. 해당 이미지는 내 정보 → 계정 삭제에서 언제든 삭제할 수 있습니다.

앱은 ARKit 얼굴 추적, TrueDepth 카메라, 기기 내 얼굴 랜드마크 API, 생체 매칭을 일절 사용하지 않습니다. 전신 사진 업로드는 선택 사항이며, 업로드하지 않아도 옷장 기능은 정상 작동합니다.

프로필 사진 (선택, 기본 켜짐). 아바타가 만들어지면 앱은 Google Gemini API에 아바타 이미지 속 머리의 위치를 한 번 묻습니다 — 답은 사각형 좌표뿐이며 얼굴 특징·템플릿·신원은 만들거나 저장하지 않습니다 — 그 영역을 기기에서 잘라 작은 이미지를 프로필 사진으로 보관합니다. 프로필 사진은 프로필·게시물·댓글·방명록에 이름과 함께 로그인한 다른 이용자에게 보입니다(차단한 사람에게는 보이지 않습니다). 프로필 편집 → "프로필 사진에 아바타 얼굴 쓰기"를 끄면 언제든 지울 수 있고, 아바타나 계정을 지우면 함께 지워집니다.

5. 친구 · 공유 링크 · 초대

아래 기능은 선택 사항이며, 이용할 때만 동작합니다.

• 친구에게 보이는 이름과 초대 코드. 친구 탭을 열면 계정에 짧은 초대 코드를 만듭니다. 친구에게는 그 탭에서 정한 이름이 보입니다 — 기본값은 구글·애플 계정 이름이며 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다.
• 친구 관계. 초대 코드를 입력하거나 초대 링크를 받으면 친구 관계를 저장합니다. 친구는 이용자가 친구에게 공개로 설정한 옷과 룩만 볼 수 있고, 처음엔 모두 비공개입니다. 원본 사진·전신 사진·아바타는 친구에게도 보이지 않습니다.
• 초대 보상. 초대 크레딧을 지급하기 위해 누가 누구를 초대했는지, 새 계정이 첫 옷을 등록했는지를 기록합니다.
• 공유 링크. 룩을 링크로 공유하면 링크를 가진 사람은 누구나 웹과 앱에서 그 룩 이미지·제목·이용자 이름을 볼 수 있습니다. 링크는 룩 상세에서 언제든 끌 수 있고, 룩을 지우면 함께 꺼집니다.
• 설치 전 링크 이어받기. 공유·초대 페이지에서 "App Store에서 받기"를 누르면, 설치 후 첫 실행에서 같은 룩·초대로 이어지도록 서버가 IP 주소를 비밀값으로 해시한 값과 기기 종류·언어·시간대·화면 크기를 최대 24시간 보관합니다. IP 주소 원문은 저장하지 않습니다. Android에서는 대신 Google Play 설치 리퍼러로 전달합니다.
• 신고와 차단. 신고하면 신고 내용(사유와 입력한 설명)을 저장하고 해당 이용자를 차단합니다. 운영팀이 24시간 안에 확인합니다.
• 프로필·아이디·검색. 프로필에는 이용자가 정한 이름, @아이디(자동 배정, 변경 가능), 공개한 옷·룩 수가 보입니다. "검색에 보이기"를 끄지 않으면 다른 이용자가 이름이나 아이디로 찾을 수 있습니다. 누구나로 설정한 옷·룩은 로그인한 모든 이용자에게, 친구는 친구에게만 보이며, 처음엔 모두 나만입니다.
• 팔로우와 친구 신청. 누가 누구를 팔로우하는지, 보내고 받은 친구 신청과 그 결과를 저장해 내 사람들 목록과 앱 내 알림(팔로우·신청·수락·방명록)을 보여줍니다.
• 방명록. 다른 이용자의 프로필에 남긴 글은 이용자 계정과 함께 저장되어 그 프로필을 보는 사람에게 보입니다. 프로필 주인과 작성자가 지울 수 있습니다.
• 피드 게시물·좋아요·댓글. 룩을 피드에 올리면 룩 이미지, 쓴 글(140자 이내), 태그한 옷, 고른 공개 범위(친구 또는 누구나)가 계정과 함께 저장되어 그 범위의 이용자에게 보입니다. 좋아요와 댓글은 남긴 계정과 함께 저장됩니다. 룩을 올리기 전에 서버가 그 이미지를 Google Gemini API에 한 번 보내 노출·폭력 여부를 검사합니다 — 결과(안전/부적합)만 저장하고 Google은 처리 목적 외에 이미지를 보관하지 않으며, 그 밖의 정보는 보내지 않습니다. 서로 다른 세 사람에게 신고된 계정의 게시는 검토 때까지 멈춥니다.
• 착장 사진. 1.9.0부터 룩뿐 아니라 실제 옷을 입은 본인 사진도 올릴 수 있습니다. 사진 게시물을 올리기 전에 서버가 사진을 Google Gemini API에 한 번 보내 노출, 미성년자로 보이는 인물, 다른 사람의 포함 여부를 검사합니다 — 결과(안전/부적합)만 저장하고 Google은 처리 목적 외에 사진을 보관하지 않으며, 그 밖의 정보는 보내지 않습니다. 본인 사진만 올려 주세요. 온보딩 설문에서 18세 미만이라고 답한 이용자의 착장 사진은 친구에게만 공개되며 누구나 공개로 바꿀 수 없습니다. 룩을 "얼굴 없이" 올리면 자르기는 기기 안에서 하고 잘린 이미지만 올라갑니다.
• 다른 사람 옷 입어보기. 누군가의 공개 옷장에 있는 옷을 내 아바타에 입혀보면 그 옷의 상품컷과 내 아바타가 제3항의 다른 입혀보기와 똑같이 처리됩니다. 옷 주인에게는 이용자가 입어봤다는 사실(이름, 옷마다 하루 최대 1회)이 전달되고, 입어본 횟수가 프로필에 표시됩니다.
• 옷장 카드와 공식 계정. 피드에는 옷을 누구나 공개로 둔 이용자의 카드(이름, 아이디, 공개한 옷 수, 상품컷 최대 4장)가 보입니다. 새 계정은 피드가 비지 않도록 Dress AI 공식 계정(@dressai)을 자동으로 팔로우하며, 언제든 팔로우를 끊을 수 있습니다.
• 옷 빌려주기·빌리기·팔기. 이 기능은 1.9.0부터 켜져 있습니다. 옷을 빌려주거나 팔기로 내놓으면 정한 조건(공개 범위, 크레딧, 대여 기간)을 저장해 그 범위의 이용자에게 보여줍니다. 누군가 빌리거나 사면 거래 내역(양쪽 계정, 옷, 크레딧, 날짜)을 기록하고 서비스 수수료를 뺀 크레딧을 계정 간에 옮깁니다. 빌린 옷의 상품컷은 대여 기간 동안 빌린 사람이 볼 수 있고, 산 옷(정보와 상품컷)은 산 사람의 계정으로 옮겨집니다. 거래 기록은 고객 지원과 부정 이용 방지를 위해 어느 한쪽 계정이 남아 있는 동안 보관합니다. 크레딧은 현금 가치가 없으며 인출할 수 없습니다.
• 추천 사용자. 팔로우할 만한 사람을 추천하기 위해 검색에 보이는 프로필을 공개한 옷 수, 최근 활동, 관계 수로 정렬합니다. 이를 위해 추가로 수집하는 정보는 없습니다.
• 방문 수. 다른 이용자의 프로필을 열면 하루 1회 방문(계정, 날짜)을 기록해 오늘·누적 방문 수와 최근 방문자 20명을 그 주인에게 보여줍니다. "방문 기록 남기지 않기"를 켜면 기록하지 않으며, 방문 기록은 90일 뒤 지웁니다.
• 푸시 알림. 알림을 허용하면 기기의 푸시 토큰을 계정·언어와 함께 저장하고, 위에 적은 앱 내 이벤트를 Apple 푸시 알림 서비스 또는 Firebase 클라우드 메시징으로 보냅니다. 알림에는 이벤트 종류와 상대방의 표시 이름만 담깁니다. 시스템 설정에서 언제든 알림을 끌 수 있고, 로그아웃하면 토큰을 지웁니다.

6. 보관 및 삭제

데이터는 이용자가 보관하는 동안만 유지되며, 별도의 보관본은 없습니다.

• 앱 안에서 개별 항목 삭제가 가능합니다 (옷 길게 누르기 → 삭제).
• 계정 전체 삭제: 앱의 내 정보 → 계정 삭제에서 즉시 처리됩니다. 사진·옷장·아바타·룩·친구 관계·초대 코드·공유 링크·로그인 기록이 서버에서 영구 삭제됩니다. 안내: dress-ai-site.vercel.app/delete-account
• 또는 가입 이메일로 yongho@stra.ai에 삭제를 요청하시면 14일 이내 처리합니다.

삭제는 영구적이며 되돌릴 수 없습니다.

7. 아동

본 앱은 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 해당 연령의 정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

8. 방침 변경

수집·이용·제공 방식에 중대한 변경이 있는 경우 본 페이지를 갱신하고 위 시행일을 수정합니다.
